I offer greetings to all during this season of growth and grace. Our two parishes enjoyed wonderful events in July. The Rummage Sale at IHM was very well attended and financially successful. The Golf Outing at Millcreek Golf Course had participants from both parishes and was enjoyed by all. I have highlighted some of the important events for this month.
Saturday, August 5, I will hear confessions at St. Joseph at 3:30pm. That day is also my 66th Birthday.
Saturday, August 12, and Sunday, August 17, Fr. Michael Balash will preside during the weekend liturgies. Fr. Balash is the Vicar for Clergy and the Director of the Office of Worship for the Diocese.
Monday, August 14, Lifeline Screening will be at the Msgr. Prokop Center at IHM.
The weekend of August 19-20 there will be a Priest from the Missionary Society of St. Paul at the Masses. I am confident you will receive him warmly and generously.
The Food Pantry Distribution at IHM will be Friday, August 25.
I am looking forward to some vacation time in August. I am excited for the grace-filled opportunities that we are facing. This should be an eventful year!
