Dear Members and Friends of St. Joseph Church and Immaculate Heart of Mary Church,

Happy Easter! I greet you this way as a reminder that we are called to celebrate the joy of the Resurrection throughout the Fifty Day Season of Easter. We will continue our focus on the gifts the resurrection of Jesus brings at Easter until Pentecost Sunday, May 19, 2024.

We have many important events during the Month of May.

  • FIRST COMMUNION:
    • Saturday, May 4, at 4:30 Mass at St. Joseph.
    • Sunday, May 5, at 11:00 Mass at IHM.
    • There will be a May Crowning at St. Joseph Church at 9:00am Mass, May 5.
  • Wednesday, May 8, the IHM Parish Council will meet at 6:30pm.
  • CONFIRMATION: Bishop Bonner will preside and Confirm the Candidates at 11:00am, Saturday, May 11 at the Cathedral.
  • Sunday, May 12, MOTHER’S DAY! There will be the May Crowning at IHM at 11:00am Mass.
  • Sunday, May 19 is the Feast of Pentecost! The Bell Choir will perform at St. Joseph at 9:00am Mass. The Combined Choir will perform at IHM at 11:00am Mass.

I am impressed with how you have maintained your financial support of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and St. Joseph Church. You are continuing to be generous with your parish and other charitable institutions. The St.Vincent de Paul Society is maintaining its mission to help those in need of food and other items. The Food Pantry continues its assistance to many families in need. For those of you who have not yet made a commitment to the Annual Diocesan Appeal I ask that you do so to continue the work of Catholic Charities and other important programs. Thanks to all of you!

Praying that God keeps you and your loved ones healthy and safe, I remain,

Sincerely Yours in Christ,

Rev. Gregory F. Fedor
