What we pray, is what we believe, is how we live.
The Worship Committee meets periodically with the Pastor to discuss, plan, and prepare the Liturgical events for our faith community. The Sacred Liturgy, celebrated every Saturday at 4:30 am and Sunday at 8:30 am, is the source and summit of the Church’s life and activity. It is our spiritual center and the weekly event that inspires all that we do. We also work with the Pastor to plan other celebrations of the Sacraments.
“Sunday, the ‘Lord’s Day’ is the principal day for the celebration of the Eucharist because it is the day of the Resurrection. It is the pre-eminent day of the liturgical assembly, the day of the Christian family, and the day of joy and rest from work. Sunday is ‘the foundation and kernel of the whole liturgical year’ (SC 106).”
