Don’t miss two inspiring evenings of hope-filled storytelling to celebrate the Easter Season interwoven with inspiring live music with PJ and Miguel Chavez from Walsh University Campus Ministry. Joining them will be Jim Merhaut and Dylan Kollat on bass and percussion as well as other Walsh University Campus Ministry musicians. Carol Craven will also be sharing a faith story of her own. Participants will be inspired to tap into their own stories as a way of deepening their faith and passing it along in creative ways to others!

Meet our twin brother presenters: Miguel and P.J. Chavez!

Appointed in the summer of 2004, Miguel has been active with Walsh University as a student and now continues in Campus Ministry in service to holistically enriching students, staff and faculty. Miguel is a resident of Stark County and has been very active in area church, ministry, and educational programs. He received his B.A. and M.A. from Walsh University in Theology and Pastoral Ministry. Miguel also serves as an adjunct professor in Theology. “God has truly blessed me with the fulfilling opportunity to work in Campus Ministry. As people of God we are all called ‘to be’ the change in the world and to bring about a reality of love that illuminates the dignity of all. To this end I commit myself. In this commitment I am blessed!” |

Pedro J Chavez (P.J.) is the Director of Liturgical Services for the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Chapel at Walsh University. He was appointed the summer of 2006 and holds an M.A.Ed, from Walsh University and is an instrument rated commercial pilot with a CFII Certificate from Kent State University. PJ directs the music ministry and the liturgical ministries in the chapel.“I feel very blessed to be at Walsh University. Praising the Lord through music is very special because music is a form of prayer that words cannot begin to describe. It is a way to experience God on a spiritual and emotional level and feel His presence alive in heart and soul!” |
